Travel Design Lounge Now Open in West Omaha

Ribbon Cutting Travel Design LoungeOMAHA, Neb. — Travel and Transport president and CEO Kevin O’Malley cut the ribbon to signify the grand opening of Travel Design Lounge at The Shops of Legacy on Thursday. More than 50 people were on hand to celebrate its launch. A reception followed the ceremony for Omaha patrons.

“We are thrilled to offer Omaha an upscale lounge where guests can relax with friends, enjoy fine wines, craft beers and more, while at the same time, having the option to explore travel options on their own in a no-pressure-selling atmosphere,” O’Malley said. “This lounge is unlike anything that has been offered in Omaha, and we are excited to see this come to fruition.”

Travel Design Lounge features an array of specialty coffees, craft beers, wines, spirits and appetizers from around the globe, in addition to giving patrons the ability to research travel options.

Guests who choose to use the lounge to book travel will have access to experienced travel advisors, “book your own” travel technology options, unique one of a kind travel deals and state-of-the-art technology to plan and book their journeys – creating a personal experience for each traveler. The innovative lounge is designed to appeal to all generations.
