Marriott Unifies its Loyalty Programs

August 29, 2018

Marriott International has unified its three loyalty programs under the name Marriott Rewards, which now includes the former The Ritz-Carlton Rewards and Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) programs.

The new unified program spans the company's entire portfolio of 29 brands and more than 6,700 participating hotels worldwide. Members are able to earn and redeem across the entire loyalty portfolio.

Note for Travel and Transport customers: Once a traveler's Marriott Rewards and SPG accounts have been unified via a  single account number, it will be necessary to remove the SPG program number and use only the Marriott Rewards number in their profiles within the online booking tool.

Marriott has unified its formerly separate Marriott Rewards, Starwood Preferred Guest and Ritz Carlton Rewards loyalty programs.
