Ryanair launches business services

Carrier Ryanair recently unveiled its new Business Plus services. According to the Irish Independent, Business Plus targets passengers on business travel and offers a variety of benefits starting at a price of $92.24.

The benefits that accompany a Business Plus flight include flexibility should tickets need to be changed, a checked-bag allowance of 44 pounds, priority boarding, premium seats and faster security screening at certain airports.

The airline decided to make the move to target to this population because more than 25 percent of its total customers are flying out on business travel, the Independent reported.

Travelers who opt for premium seating on a Ryanair's Business Plus flight will be given extra leg room and easier access to an exit. These seats can be found in the back, middle and front of the plane.

If something arises before travelers are set to depart, flexible ticketing will allow them unlimited flight changes. This also includes the option to change flights on the day of travel at no extra cost.

A major attraction to Ryanair's Business Plus is fast-track airport security. It's available at airports including Dublin, Barcelona El Prat, Liverpool, London Stansted, Manchester, Milan Bergamo, Brussels Charleroi and East Midlands.

With hopes of attracting 75 percent of all business traffic between Ireland and the U.K., Ryanair will launch Business Plus with its 2015 summer schedule.

The carrier added that it hopes to do transatlantic flights in the future and already has business plans in place, but it must first obtain long-haul aircraft.
