Travel and Transport has received the Better Business Bureau (BBB) Silver Award of Distinction, recognizing ethical business practices that go above and beyond in serving customers, employees and the community.

Jim Hegarty, BBB president and CEO, said the Silver Award of Distinction is presented to organizations who show that ethics and integrity are core tenets of their business, and who realize that “dealing fairly and honestly with their stakeholders is central to profitability and growth.”

A contingent of employee-owners accepted the award at a ceremony on September 10, 2019. Travel and Transport was nominated by creative agency OBI Creative, after which followed an extensive application process coordinated by Mark Dauner, content marketing specialist.

“It was an honor to accept this award on behalf of employee-owners across the company,” said President Tim Fleming. “It’s further confirmation of what we and our customers already know well – ethics and integrity are central to the culture and success of this company.”
