It's almost here! GBTA Convention 2016 kicks off in Denver, Colorado this Saturday, July 16. This year's overall theme at GBTA is "Balance" and this year's featured speakers include an inspiring guy who's traveled farther than most of us could ever imagine, legendary U.S. Astronaut, Captain Scott Kelly! Also speaking will be Denver quarterback Peyton Manning and everyone's favorite fictional vice president, Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
But that’s not even close to all that awaits you at GBTA this year.
Visit Travel and Transport at GBTA booth #2012.
If you’re at the event, you’re going to want to make sure to come see us at booth #2012. You'll be able to get a look at our new Dash Portal, which features new enhancements that give travelers and travel managers a truly revolutionary user experience. We'll also be unveiling a new user interface to our Dash Mobile travel app.
At last year's GBTA convention Travel and Transport announced our Big Data Solution. This year you'll get to see it in action! We'll have more details on this as next week progresses, so stay tuned!
Take in some informative sessions.
In addition to those inspiring keynotes mentioned above, GBTA Convention is packed with informative and educational sessions on a multitude of topics and ideas impacting the business travel industry. You can get a list of all the sessions at the convention website, but we'd like to call your attention to one in particular: Donna Brokowski, General Manager of Travel and Transport's Partner Solutions Group will participate in the Government Relations Peer to Peer Think Tank panel discussion on Monday, July 18 at 9:00 a.m.
Get your picture taken and help the world!
Travel and Transport has partnered with Eden Projects to support their cause of reducing extreme poverty and restoring healthy forests in Haiti, Madagascar, Ethiopia, and Nepal by employing local villagers to plant millions of trees. This year we will have a photo booth available at our booth, #2012, where visitors can take fun selfies. For every person that gets their picture snapped, Travel and Transport will donate 5 trees to Eden Projects that will be planted in Haiti. A special thank you to our partner T-Mobile for inspiring this effort!
If you're at GBTA, we hope to see you at our booth or at one of the many great sessions and events happening throughout the week. If you're not able to make it you can still get in on the fun by following the events at insights.travelandtransport.com and on Twitter with tweets from our team @TandTNews. We’ll be using the official GBTA hashtag #GBTA2016.
